Four cards, four employers. The rate and the hours are printed on the front of each one, so you know what you are answering before you write a word.

The four cards

One employer per card, nothing bundled

We do not merge briefs into a single generic listing. If two employers want different things, they get two cards, and you pick the one that matches your week.

Message handling roleEvenings

Message handling

Work a typed queue of customer questions using a saved-reply library, passing anything unusual up the line.

  • Written work only, no phone calls
  • Reply library covers the common cases
  • Blocks start after 5pm
AUD 122–380 / day
Data cleanup roleDaytime

Data clean-up

Move through account records fixing what is out of date, marking anything that needs a supervisor to decide.

  • Batch checklist, not a stopwatch
  • Nothing has to finish the same day
  • Good for a first remote role
AUD 108–325 / day
Reconciliation roleFlexible

Order reconciliation

Match incoming orders to stock notes and flag the gaps. You raise them; someone else resolves them.

  • Training runs about two hours
  • Weekend blocks are available
  • A second screen helps but is optional
AUD 132–398 / day
Review rolePart-time

Written review

Read short submissions against a fixed rubric and mark the ones that need a second opinion.

  • Rubric is three pages, no interpretation
  • Work is queued, never live
  • Popular with students and carers
AUD 116–352 / day

About DeltaHyre

We hand over the brief, then get out of the way

DeltaHyre exists because Hunter employers with one or two home-based openings have nowhere sensible to advertise them. We take the brief, confirm it is real, print it on a card, and pass your application to that employer alone. From the moment you are introduced, the arrangement is between the two of you.

The process

Four steps between here and your first block

ONE

Send the form

Your name, the hours you can cover, and which card you are answering.

TWO

Message our HR

The employer brief comes back on WhatsApp so you can read it in full first.

THREE

Train online

Around two hours with the employer, and the notes stay yours afterwards.

FOUR

Pick the roster

You nominate blocks, the employer confirms, and changes go through the same contact.

Applicant notes

Written back to us after a few weeks

“Being able to see the rate before applying saved me a whole round of messages. I knew straight away which card was for me.”

Jarrah — Singleton

“The clean-up work is dull and I mean that as a compliment. Dull is what I wanted while my youngest is small.”

Elise — Muswellbrook

“Two hours of training, then straight into a queue with the notes beside me. It was not the deep end I had braced for.”

Cam — Cessnock

Questions

Pick a question, read the answer

Will I be turned away for having no experience?

No. All four cards were written for people starting fresh, which is why the form asks about your availability instead of your work history. Employers screen on whether you can be reached during the blocks you nominated.

How much of the week does this take up?

Some applicants do two long evenings and nothing else. Others spread short blocks across five days. Both patterns are common here and neither is treated as the proper way to do it.

What do I need at home?

A computer that is not on its last legs, internet that stays up through a block, and a spot quiet enough to read carefully. None of these four cards involve phone calls, so a headset is not required.

Is the training paid?

It depends on the employer and is stated plainly in the brief they send you. We do not average it across the four cards, because a wrong guess here would show up in your first payslip.

Who employs me?

The employer behind the card you answered. They set the terms, they confirm the roster, and they pay you on their own schedule. DeltaHyre introduces you and takes nothing from your rate.

Is there any charge?

None, at any stage. Nothing is charged for the listing, the training or a deposit. If someone uses our name to ask you for money or banking details, that is not us — email the address in the contact panel.
